Extracurricular Activities

INTRODUCTION

School life does not depend entirely upon formal studies. A successful life expresses itself in more than the intellectual. St. Edward High School encourages many student activities in the hope of giving opportunities for wider associations among students and faculty. In addition, universities tend to look for young men and women who balance and round-out their personalities by participation in extracurriculars. Active involvement shows more than merely a variety of interests; it is very often a sign or index of the type of person applying to a college or a particular occupation. It generally shows that a person has adjusted well to the school society and that he has given of himself as well as having received.
