Scholarships for Band
St. Edward High School offers a $1000.00 renewable instrumental scholarship to qualified incoming freshmen each year. Students must
perform an audition with their instrument for the director in order to qualify. Students who accept the scholarship must participate in

Marching Band
Marching Band Applications for the 2008-2009 school year are available
in the St. Edward band room. Any student wishing to participate in
the marching band must complete an application and return it to the
Performing Arts office by the listed deadline. Students who will be
enrolled at St. Joseph Academy or Magnificat High School may
participate in the St. Edward Marching Eagles Band as instrumentalist,
or may audition for the flag corps. More information on flag corps to
come at a later date.

Percussion
Update 5-12-08
Students who wish to play percussion in the 2008 Marching Band should attend a meeting on Wednesday, May 21 from 4-5:30 in the SEHS band room.

A percussion clinic for those students joining the 2008 Marching Band will be held Tuesday, June 17 - Friday, June 20 from 6:30 - 9:00 PM. The first session on June 17 will consist of an audition for the drumline and pit.

Eagle Flag Corps
Update 5-7-08

The St. Edward Marching Eagles Flag Corps Clinic
Friday, May 23 from 4-8 PM
Saturday, May 24 from 10 AM - 1 PM and 2 - 5 PM
Final Auditions for Flag Corps will be Tuesday, May 27 at 5 PM

Any student who will be enrolled at St. Joseph Academy or Magnificat High School for the 2008-2009 school year is eligible to participate in the open clinic and audition. Students should report to the St. Edward High School Gym at 4 PM on Friday, May 23 dressed for movement and prepared to also work outside either in the grass or the parking lot.

Concert Band and Jazz Band
The SEHS Spring Concert featuring the Choir, Jazz, and Concert Bands
will be held in the gym on Sunday, May 4 at 7:00 PM. This is a free
concert open for all to come and enjoy.
