St. Edward High School rolls to state wrestling title

COLUMBUS-Dominance.
That is the one word that clearly describes the overall performance by the St. Edward High School wrestling team.The Eagles, who clinched the team title on Friday, and accumulated a Division I record of 223.5 points en route to the championship, captured their 27th state wrestling crown.
Massillon Perry was a distant second on the leader board with 105.5 points.It was an impressive display by the Eagles inside a packed Value City Arena inside the Jerome Schottenstein Center on the campus of Ohio State University Saturday night.
St. Edward had 12 placers with four individual state champions.
