DATA SCIENCE STUDENTS CONDUCT DEPARTMENT-WIDE SURVEY PROJECT This semester, seniors in Mr. Bob Schenosky's Data Science class are working with the school's administration to conduct a student-led survey to identify the areas of improvement for St. Ed's Admission, Student Life, Mission and Service, Faculty, Alumni, Athletics, Technology, Cafeteria and Bookstore from a student body perspective. Seniors have taken the last few weeks to meet with the chairs and heads of each department to brainstorm how to best formulate the questions for each department's survey. Some surveys, for example, like those for the alumni and faculty community, will also be targeting individuals other than students

EDSMEN EXPLORE FRANCE AS PART OF FRENCH STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM For three weeks, five Edsmen traveled to France as part of St. Ed's French Student Exchange program, a partnership with Collège Saint Joseph in Le Puy-en-Velay, France. ED'S COMMUNITY COMES TOGETHER FOR "EMPOWERED TO STOP BULLYING" INITIATIVE To commemorate World Day of Bullying Prevention, St. Ed's Diversity Club, led by Vice President of Equity and Inclusion Mr. James Knight, created the "Empowered to Stop Bullying" initiative. Pulling from St. Ed's "Empowered" theme, 30 signs with "Empowered to Stop Bullying" messages and anti-bullying statistics have filled the halls all week long. The signs, colored in bright blue, are a nod to other anti-bullying programs and bullying prevention initiatives nationwide. St. Edward High School Reunion 2019

Reunion weekend kicked off with golf at Big Met Golf Course for Alumni celebrating their reunion years. The day was brisk, but around 100 golfers were in good spirits, enjoying coffee and donuts before heading out to their assigned tee for a shotgun start. St. Edward High School Homecoming 2019

The St. Edward High School Homecoming picnic was a beautiful day to celebrate St. Edward High School. A complimentary picnic and lawn games made it a fun day for the whole family. Guests enjoyed special appearances by the St. Ed’s Marching Band, including Alumni Band Members, the Cheer Team and the Ball and T-Shirt Launching Robot. ​ After the picnic, fans turned out at First Federal Stadium in Lakewood to cheer on the Eagle Football Team as they faced Akron Buchtel. It was a winning day for the Eagles, capping off the events with true Eagle pride. This program, designated for 4th-8th grade students at Zach's alma mater, St. Brendan School in North Olmsted, provided them with a day full of hands-on learning activities, demonstrations and building projects teaching them about robots, rockets and electronics.
