GHANA LENTEN ALMSGIVING
HELP OUR STUDENT MINISTERS REACH THEIR LENTEN ALMSGIVING GOAL
Our sister school in Ghana, St. Brother Andre Senior High, reached out to us at St. Ed's seeking help in adding musical instruments to their choir: a digital keyboard, amp and drum set. Our Community can help to make that happen and strengthen our Holy Cross bonds internationally.
St. Ed's Student Ministers have come up with a Lenten Almsgiving Challenge to rally the community in helping raise enough money to provide instruments for our sister school. This Lent, we have 40 days to raise $4,000 - that means we need to raise $100 a day. If everyone were to donate at least $5 we will not only reach our goal, but we will surpass it!
During this Lenten season, as we consider the Lenten themes of prayer, fasting and almsgiving, this is a concrete way we can make a big difference in the lives of fellow Holy Cross students.
HOW TO DONATE
Donations can be made online below!
For students, they can easily make a donation at the cash registers when they purchase their lunch in the Palisin Commons cafeteria. Donation cards will be in the cafeteria and can be handed to the cashier to let them know you are donating to the Ghana Lenten fundraiser.
Let’s use this opportunity for prayer and fasting to allow your small sacrifice to make a big difference in the lives of our Holy Cross friends.
