ST. EDWARD MOTHERS CLUB
St. Edward Mothers' Club is a group of dedicated moms who host special events and fundraisers and support many school-sponsored events to benefit the young men of our school.
There is no requirement to volunteer your time, but we would love it if you would. It's a really fun way to get to know other St. Ed's Moms and to do great things for our community.
If you choose to volunteer, options inlude:
Prayer Chain - please put prayer intentions on Facebook for all to see.
Ed's Threads - this is a new program at St. Ed's. The concept is that families can donate their gently used blue blazers, shirts, ties, and school pants for other families to take advantage of when needed. A committee is needed to kick-off this program and manage throughout the year.
Altar Linens Ironing - Campus Ministry needs volunteers to iron the altar linens monthly after washing.
Fall Open Houses - October 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and October 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - Student Ambassadors provide tours to prospective students and their families. Mothers' Club provides refreshments.
Moriah House - Starting in November and running until the end of the school year, St. Ed's Mothers' Club will be volunteering every second Sunday of the month at Moriah House, a homeless family center in Cleveland. Mothers can volunteer to help prepare meals, serve dinner, play games and activities with the families and help with cleanup. Click here to sign up to volunteer at Moriah House.
