St. Edward Welcomes Mr. James E. Reed as Principal

Dear St. Edward High School Community,

I am excited to announce that Mr. James E. Reed, III will be joining St. Edward High School Community as principal for the 2017-18 school year.

Mr. Reed brings a tremendous wealth of experience to St. Edward. For 17 years he served as the principal of Cleveland Heights High School. Most recently, upon his retirement from Cleveland Heights in 2015, he spent the 2015-16 school year as the interim principal at Shaker Heights High School and the 2016-2017 school year as the interim principal at Beachwood High School.

Mr. Reed’s experience, passion and leadership ability make him an excellent fit to drive continued excellence in our academic programming at St. Ed’s. Our approach to creating a culture of collaboration and creativity in our classrooms is something that he has lead successfully in each of the excellent school communities in which he has served throughout his career.

With his personable style and breadth of experience, Mr. Reed will embrace myriad opportunities to mentor students and faculty alike and continue to push St. Edward toward excellence in every endeavor. He will model both the competence to see and the courage to act – our mission’s call for all of our students and adults alike.
