Dates: February 16, 2023 :: 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

For this experience, we will speak with our Ohio Representatives and Senators about Womb-Tomb pro-life issues. This is an opportunity to see how government works, and to talk with the people who represent you to form the laws that shape Ohio. We will meet with people of both political parties, not to debate, but to talk about areas that are important to our lives as students in a Catholic School. We will be advocating for issues connected to life, which can include- abolishing the death penalty, supports for new parents, reducing poverty, school choice (the education voucher) abortion, the environment, etc.

There will be required preparation meetings during the community period, likely Community Period F days.

A student can also get 3 hours of service for participating, as advocacy is an important part of working for justice.

Cost: $30 (includes lunch and materials)

Registration Deadline is February 3. Space is limited to the first 8 students to register.
