A proud 1958 graduate of St. Edward High School, he attended the University of Dayton Art Institute; retired as a deputy bailiff for the Cleveland Municipal Court. Paul had a deep love for entertaining people, either through acting in community theater productions, which he was involved with for many years, telling stories and jokes, or acting out books to his grandchildren using different voices for each character. Paul also greatly enjoyed drawing and taking art classes, especially watercolor painting.
