Students Invited to Participate in Summer 2017 Service Trips

Dear Parents and students of St. Edward High School:

It is important here at St. Edward that we continue to provide our students with opportunities to serve others outside of our immediate community. This summer, we are returning to the Appalachia region of West Virginia to work with Habitat for Humanity and build a house from the foundation up, and will be traveling to San Francisco, CA to participate in a week of service organized by Young Neighbors in Action. You can find out more about Young Neighbors by clicking here. (You may remember following along a picture blog by our students who traveled to DC for a week with Young Neighbors last summer).

The Appalachia work week goes from June 4-10, and the San Francisco Mission trip from July 22-29. Click here for the Appalachia forms and click here for the San Francisco registration form.

All registrations are due by Friday, March 10 and trips fill on a first come, first serve basis. There has been a waiting list for Appalachia every year for the past few years, it will fill up quickly!

Please don't hesitate to contact Cari White, Director of Campus Ministry at cwhite@sehs.net or 216-221-3776 ext. 226 with any questions about the Young Neighbors in Action trip to San Francisco or Rick Kubrak, Director of Service and Outreach at rkubrak@sehs.net or 216-221-3776 ext. 410 with any questions regarding the Appalachia trip. Both of these opportunities offer incredible opportunities for students to grow in faith, service and fellowship with their fellow Edsmen and teachers.

Peace and God's blessings,

Cari White,

Director of Campus Ministry

Rick Kubrak

Director of Service and Outreach
