Best of the Week 2020-2021: Holy Cross Values

ST. ED'S REMAINS FOCUSED ON HOSPITALITY WITH SAFELY REDESIGNED OPEN HOUSES FOR 8TH GRADE FAMILIES

This year, St. Edward High School is offering five Open House dates for 8th grade students to provide a safe environment for families to connect and interact with the St. Edward community. Our Open Houses are a great way for students and their families to learn more about how we're empowering our students to create the world in which they will live, work, and serve. Our Holy Cross values put relationships, hospitality, zeal, humility and Divine Providence at the center of all that we do. These values are at the heart of the sense of belonging that every member of the St. Ed's community experiences and cherishes.

Our first Open House for 8th grade families will take place this Sunday and the St. Edward community is excited to welcome prospective students to campus. Students and their families will be able to meet with faculty, staff and coaches to learn more about our academic, athletic and art programs, have a personalized tour with a Student Ambassador, and explore the campus including The Joseph and Helen Lowe Institute for Innovation and the brand new Marilyn and David Palisin '64 Commons.

"The health and safety of our visitors, as well as our St. Edward students, faculty and staff is our highest priority. To ensure a healthy and safe visit, we set a limit on the number of families who can register for each of our Open Houses which will allow for proper social distancing within the building. Additionally, all visitors, as well as the St. Edward faculty, staff, coaches, and students will be required to wear face masks and proceed through a temperature screening when they arrive," says Director of Admission Dan Mackin '04. "We are looking forward to the opportunity to extend our warm, Holy Cross hospitality to visiting families, as they engage with our St. Edward faculty, staff, coaches, and students."

Open House 2 - Monday, October 12 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Open House 3 - Monday, October 19 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Open House 4 - Sunday, October 25 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Open House 5 - Monday, November 2 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
