ST. ED'S HOSTS IMMERSIVE FRENCH ADVENTURE FOR THE CLASS OF 2025

French teacher Sabrina Gushue, Director of International Programs Michael Perrins, and the Office of Admission hosted a creative and immersive French experience for some of our newest Edsmen from the Class of 2025 who are interested in learning the French language and culture at St. Ed's. Turning the Palisin Commons into a French adventure, students learned about St. Ed's French exchange experience and the opportunities to travel abroad, experienced a French food tasting and an escargot challenge, took a virtual reality tour of popular French cities, and had a blast earning prizes throughout a French scavenger hunt.

"This was a great opportunity for the students to start establishing relationships with their new classmates as well as current French students at St. Ed's while being immersed in a French setting all at the same time," says Mrs. Gushue. "I think the French Adventure experience really engaged students' curiosity and furthered their interest in learning more about the language and culture. I'm very excited to see some of the students in my French classes next year." With the intent to showcase the French curriculum at St. Ed's and engage with the new Class of 2025 in a creative way, our newest Edsmen had the opportunity to safely visit campus, meet and socialize with their fellow classmates, and gain a better appreciation for French culture while having a fun evening at St. Ed's.
