Looking at the year ahead, St. Ed's IB Diploma Program has been forward-thinking, creating new innovative efforts to engage more with students interested in taking IB courses and pursuing an IB Diploma by the time they graduate from St. Ed's.The newest St. Ed's IB Instagram account, spearheaded by Associate Dean of Academics and IB Coordinator Nick Kuhar, has been frequently sharing IB students' testimonials and experiences from within the program. Since the fall, this social media platform has allowed St. Ed's to tangibly show from day to day how our IB ideology helps shape our students to be more well-rounded learners, creators, and problem-solvers. As part of St. Ed's newest IB communication, Mr. Kuhar took the time to sit down with our IB educators and create individual IB course commercials to highlight the distinguished IB coursework and interdisciplinary opportunities presented to our Edsmen. All IB Diploma Program courses, built around proven pedagogical methods, are taught and assessed with the rigor essential to preparing students for success at highly competitive universities. From Business Management, Computer Science, and Design Tech to Film, French, History, and Theory of Knowledge, St. Ed's IB curriculum presents subject matter from a worldwide perspective to develop internationally-minded, collaborative problem-solvers. Since 2014, St. Ed's has graduated 221 students with the prestigious IB Diploma and the number of students pursuing IB courses each year has skyrocketed by over 650%. Through innovative efforts, the IB Diploma Program at St. Ed's continues to increase IB participation, inspire our Edsmen, and engage with students and parents alike who are curious about the program and its benefits.
