Best of the Week 2021-2022: Holy Cross Values

In collaboration with St. Ed's Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Ed's launched its annual Winter Coat & Blanket Drive and added the collection of blankets to help collect more items to give back to the Labre Ministry, The Metanoia Project, and the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless (NEOCH). While the Labre Ministry provides food, clothing, emergency supplies, and friendship to the homeless and transient populations in our community, The Metanoia Project provides a safe place for shelter and overnight hospitality, dedicated to building relationships and responding to systemic gaps. With the same drive to break the cycle of homelessness, NEOCH seek to eliminate the root causes of homelessness while loving our diverse community through organizing, advocacy, education, and street outreach. By donating and collecting new or gently used coats and blankets for those in need, St. Ed's hopes to make a difference and provide warmth and comfort for the homeless in our Cleveland community this winter. If you would like to donate to St. Ed's Winter Coat & Blanket Drive, please bring them to upcoming home Basketball Games at St. Edward High School (2/4, 2/8, 2/11, and 2/15) or drop off your items in the Winter Coat & Blanket bin located in the front lobby of the Main Gym.
