A WARM HOLY CROSS WELCOME: ST. ED'S WELCOMES 8TH GRADE STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES AT FALL OPEN HOUSES

With a warm Holy Cross welcome, St. Ed's has welcomed 8th grade students and their families to campus to see firsthand how the people and programs at St. Ed's create an exceptional environment for students to learn and grow. Open Houses at St. Ed's are designed to be more than just a tour of the school - they are interactive experiences that highlight our academic, athletic, arts and extracurricular programs, and opportunities for students and their families to get to know our faculty and staff. "My experience with the Open Houses this year has been fantastic. I really believe in and love what we do as a school community, and having the opportunity to share that with prospective families is so fulfilling," says Matt Bertrams, Associate Director of Admission and Head Lacrosse Coach. "It's wonderful to see the passion and care that everyone has for St. Edward High School come out and shine as we give some insight to what the student experience is like at our school." At St. Edward High School, Edsmen are encouraged to grow in their faith, achieve personal excellence, make lifelong friends, and commit to the virtues of servant leadership. Most importantly, no matter who you are, students will always be encouraged to tell your story at St. Edward High School. Hospitality is a charism central to the philosophy of Holy Cross education. It is through relationships that Holy Cross hospitality makes itself known to our community. St. Ed's seeks to be a place where all feel welcome, appreciated, celebrated and loved. The St. Edward brotherhood is a testament to the strength of the community and the positive experience that each young man has during these formative years in their high school education. "St. Ed's thrives because of the people and programs that make up its community, and I enjoy watching the interactions between our passionate student ambassadors, teachers, and coaches and the 8th grade students and their families," says Director of Admission Dan Mackin '04. St. Ed's will be hosting two more Open Houses for 8th Grade Boys this Fall on Monday, October 25 and Monday, November 8 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Spaces are limited.
