ST. ED'S SCIENCE OLYMPIAD TEAM MAKES HISTORY AT STATE COMPETITION

Congratulations to St. Ed's Science Olympiad Team who placed 7th overall at the State 2022 Tournament. Not only did 13 of St. Ed's events place in the Top 10 in their categories, but St. Ed's Science Olympiad Team made history for the program overall, earning their highest placement ever at States. Captains Matt Gray '22and Joey Baker '22 have led the team to early success from the start of the season, adapting to both in-person and remote competition venues. Throughout the season, students have been challenged with projects focused on various subjects from time keeping and forensics investigations to go green initiatives and cell biology. Special shout out goes to Braeden Amos '22, Joey Baker '22, Andrew Elturk '24, Jacob Esteves '23, Michael Fink '24, Owen Fox '22, Reniel Gall '24, Matt Gray' 22, Mark Hauptman '23, Minjun Kim, Sam Richardson '22, John Thompson '22, and Adam Wilczewski '22 for placing as Top 10 finalists. Congratulations again to the entire St. Ed's Science Olympiad Team on a wonderful season and a historical finish!
