Awarded for more than seven decades, the Man of the Year is the highest honor presented to a St. Edward student.
Since 1956, one outstanding Edsman from each senior class has been named Man of the Year—the highest honor bestowed upon a student.
This individual is nominated by his classmates and selected by the faculty and staff for embodying the mission of St. Edward High School. He is a hope-bringer of the highest caliber and exemplifies the school's four Holy Cross pillars as a beacon of faith, a model of excellence, a builder of relationships, and a humble servant leader.
