Creative Writing

Campers are in for a whirlwind of self-expression as they explore popular works and writing styles. Drawing inspiration from world-class authors, they'll craft their own poetry and fiction.

Engineering Design

Design your world, literally! Using professional software, campers will think like engineers as they render everyday objects in a virtual space—challenged to improve functionality through design modifications.

Entrepreneurship

Campers will take a deep dive into business challenges—exploring solutions and generating groundbreaking new ideas; all while developing an entrepreneurial mindset. Let the innovation begin!

Film

Lights, camera, action! From scripting and capturing footage to editing for the big screen, campers will work in teams to create a short film in our state-of-the-art studio.

Leadership

Unlock your potential and lead the way! Campers will learn how each person’s unique talents contribute to a team’s success; all while participating in leadership challenges that strengthen communication and collaboration.

Mathematics

This class brings abstract concepts to life through hands-on lessons and a real-world approach. More than memorization, the activities are geared to deepen understanding and are excellent preparation for the High School Placement Test.

Music

Campers will refine their musical skills and knowledge through listening and playing activities. Whether currently an instrumentalist or aspiring to become one, this upbeat selection is a wonderful intro to the performing arts.

Programming

Campers will bring their ideas to life in the most exciting way possible—by coding their very own video game. Let’s level up those problem-solving skills.

Robotics

Calling tech enthusiasts! Campers will explore cutting-edge robotics from industry leaders, like NASA and Ford. Small groups will work together to design and program LEGO Mindstorms NXT kits.

Science

Test biology, physics, and chemistry concepts through cool experiments in our high-tech labs. This class is a dynamic and interactive learning experience with many surprises in store.

Tabletop Game Design

Campers find the secret to a good game as they dissect classic board games and create a grading rubric for their final project (taking Monopoly up a notch!). Roll the dice and let the fun begin with probability, game theory, and more.

World Politics

Class will meet in the Br. Bennet Nettleton, C.S.C. History Museum (located right on campus) for a 20th-century simulation involving real historical artifacts. Campers will view the world in a whole new light!
