Faith
The mission of St. Edward emphasizes the "formation of young men in a faith-based tradition that is God-centered and values the acceptance of each person." Through this inclusive foundation, every student matures in his spiritual and ethical understanding.
Faculty members encourage students to deeply reflect on and recognize the presence of spiritual truths in their lives. They engage with the Sacred Scriptures and other religious texts, study and reflect on life issues through a faith-based lens, and analyze contemporary issues using principles of morality and justice. Additionally, they explore topics in ecumenical and interreligious dialogue.

Throughout their four years, each Edsman is guided in discovering his call to live as a servant leader. We challenge our students to embody hospitality, compassion, zeal, and humility, and to bring hope to everyone they encounter.

Our focus on faith formation, personal growth, and meaningful relationships is rooted in the mission to develop Christ-like servant leaders who enrich the lives of others by living out the charism and spirituality of the Congregation of Holy Cross.
