Edwardian Players

From acting and set construction to costuming, sales, and ushering—there are ways for every student to shine with the Edwardian Players.

Theater offers a transformative experience, allowing students to step outside their comfort zones, embody new characters, and tell compelling stories.

This process helps them develop essential communication and collaboration skills, learning to express themselves with clarity and conviction both on stage and off.

At St. Edward High School, the Edwardian Players are a core part of the school community, presenting two productions each year: a smaller-scale show in the fall–often non-musical–and a large-scale musical in the spring.

Many St. Edward graduates have gone on to pursue theater in their communities, college, and professional careers!

The fall production offers an intimate setting perfect for honing acting skills, while the spring musical showcases a dazzling spectacle, highlighting the collective talent of over 100 students. Students of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to participate.

The cast and crew, along with support positions in concessions and ticket sales, are open to students from St. Edward, Magnificat, and St. Joseph Academy.

The Edwardian Players emphasize teamwork as much as individual performance. This collaborative spirit fosters leadership skills and a sense of responsibility that extends into college and beyond.
