Director of Campus Ministry
Position Description: The Director of Student Life is responsible for coordinating, organizing, and supporting all co-curricular activities at St. Edward High School. The director oversees the school’s house system, student activities, and student participation. The director also maintains and builds student engagement through experiences and opportunities outside of the classroom.

Goals: St. Edward High School, an International Baccalaureate World School, encourages students to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners with international awareness.
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with school administrators to develop retreats, masses, and prayer life calendar for the school year
- Sources feedback from retreat leaders and student participants, sharing feedback with school administrators
- Provides insight into the school’s theology curriculum and supports religious education initiatives for students and employees
- Works with Director of Student Life and house system members to develop spiritual programming
- May assist with teaching theology classes as needed
- Sources and promotes social justice initiatives consistent with the school’s mission
- Serves as one of the spiritual leaders and role models for students and staff
- Collaborates with faculty and counseling staff in support of student’s well-being
- Develops and maintains relationships with clergy, musicians, and school’s campus ministers
- Represents St. Edward High School at Diocesan events and local faith based gatherings
- Actively participates in admissions efforts by promoting the school’s faith formation programming
- Regularly communicates with parents regarding ministry initiatives
- Effectively manages retreat budget
Qualifications:
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church
- Masters degree preferred; bachelors degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Pastoral Ministry, or related discipline
- 3+ years working with teenage students in a faith based leadership position
- Strong administrative and program development skills
- Desire and ability to engage students and staff in meaningful faith based conversations and activities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming faith community
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
