Head Soccer Coach

Position Description: St. Edward High School is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach to lead our soccer program and continue building a championship-level culture from the top down. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of coaching success, strong communication and management skills, and the ability to mentor and develop players across all levels of the program.

Responsibilities:

• Leading all aspects of the Eagle soccer program
• Developing and implementing effective practice plans and overseeing the communication to students and parents
• Teaching fundamental and advanced soccer skills
• Promoting academic accountability and character development
• Supervising assistant coaches and coordinating with athletic staff
• Managing game strategies, player evaluations, and team selection
• Ensuring compliance with OHSAA, State of Ohio athletic regulations, and St. Edward High School certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Experience coaching soccer at the high school, club, or collegiate level
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes
• State of Ohio Pupil Activity permit (or willingness to obtain)
