Anthony Raffin ’17 joined St. Edward in 2022 and teaches English. He also serves as moderator for the Edsman Newspaper and the Film Club. Anthony values investing in his students, meeting them where they are, and helping them grow into who they hope to become. He enjoys discussing literature daily, exposing students to new ideas, concepts, and texts, and finds meaning in shaping their learning experiences.
Mr. Raffin has presented at several major conferences, including the American Literature Association’s annual meetings in Chicago and Boston, and the American Comparative Literature Association conference in Montreal.
Outside of school, he enjoys traveling—having spent a month in Italy in 2025—backpacking, and hiking in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, as well as savoring quiet mornings with a cup of coffee on his walk to campus.
