Anthony Raffin '17

About

Mr. Raffin began at St. Edward High School in 2022 as a member of the English Department. A 2017 graduate of St. Edward, Anthony has had the honor of presenting at the American Literature Association's annual conference in Chicago (2022) and Boston (2023), where he discussed Don DeLillo’s White Noise and Ernest Hemingway’s The Sun Also Rises, respectively. He also spoke at the American Comparative Literature Association's conference in Montreal in March 2024 about the theological implications of Franz Kafka’s The Castle. Anthony enjoys the quiet moments of the morning as he walks to campus with a cup of coffee and values the time he spends sharing these moments with his students during the Enrichment Period.
