Child of an Edsman
Ashley Ventura joined St. Edward High School in 2016 as an English teacher. She loves witnessing the “light bulb moments” when students grasp new concepts and also serves as the Academic Challenge Moderator, valuing the St. Edward community where colleagues feel like family and the school’s mission and culture make it feel like home. Her connection to the school runs deep, as her father, Bob Schnupp, is a 1986 graduate.
Outside of the classroom, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter, and their cats. She also loves reading whenever she can, working on projects around the house, and draws on her diverse experiences, including being a Junior Olympic archer in her youth.
