Brian Ansberry '99

About

Mr. Ansberry started at St. Edward in 2008, after graduating in 1999. He has a strong family connection to the school, including his nephew, Brendan Ansberry ’27; brothers Kevin ’02, Sean ’91, and Tim ’91; his father, Jay Ansberry ’67; uncles Tim Violand ’75, Chuck Violand ’72, and Walt Violand ’66; and his great-uncle, Tim Ansberry ’57. Brian always wanted to be an Eagle and is proud to work at his alma mater, making a positive impact on students as his teachers and coaches did for him. Outside of school, he enjoys coaching basketball and spending time with family and friends. His achievements include winning the state championship with Eagle Basketball in 1998, earning a Master’s degree from Ohio University, and becoming the all-time wins leader for boys’ basketball at Padua Franciscan High School. Brian loves Cleveland and Irish history, and his favorite part of the day is walking into St. Edward in the morning, knowing he works at an amazing place.
