Derek Dernier joined St. Edward High School in 2020 and serves as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and Manager of Athletic Facilities. He is also co-moderator of the Sports Business Club.
Coach Dernier was drawn to St. Edward by the opportunity to work with top-tier athletic programs and has been proud to contribute to the coaching staff of the 3-time state championship football team.
He values helping students grow both on and off the field and enjoys supporting their development in athletics, leadership, and teamwork. Outside of school, Coach Dernier is passionate about sports and mentoring young athletes.
