Equal parts strategist and steady guide, Maria Mueller brings clarity, precision, and reassurance to the College Counseling team at St. Edward High School. She joined the school in 2021, bringing both professional expertise and a deep personal connection to the community as a St. Edward parent—her sons Josh ’11, Corey ’14, and Dylan ’16 are alumni. Mrs. Mueller holds a College Counseling Certification from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Miami University, and she is a Certified Public Accountant. Her organized, data-driven approach helps make the college planning process manageable, while her warmth and insight allow her to walk alongside students as they discover the paths that best fit their goals and aspirations.
She is passionate about personalizing the college counseling experience and finds joy in the everyday moments when students stop by her office for guidance, laughter, or reassurance. Outside of work, Mrs. Mueller enjoys running, hiking, biking, reading, traveling, and live music, and she has completed four marathons and visited 48 U.S. states and five continents. She credits her students’ humor, enthusiasm, and optimism as a daily source of inspiration—and one of the reasons she loves being part of the St. Edward community.
