Matt Wallenhorst '05

About

Mr. Wallenhorst joined St. Edward High School in 2019 as the Dean of Student Life and Culture. With a family tradition at St. Edward—his father Jim graduated in 1974 and his brother James in 2007—Matt feels that the school has always been a home for him. He is passionate about helping students grow into better individuals and finds joy in activities such as playing volleyball, reading, traveling, and watching sports. Matt is also proud of graduating from the Remick Leadership Program at Notre Dame and has visited 48 of the 50 states. His favorite part of the school day is seeing the school community come alive during a pep rally.
