Mercy Turle joined St. Edward High School in 2023 and serves as a Humanities Tutor, supporting students in English, History, and Theology. He is also an advisor for the Edwardian Yearbook and the Creative Writing Club. Mercy is drawn to the school’s strong commitment to student well-being and enjoys working with motivated students as they develop their voices and grow as thinkers and individuals.
Mercy finds particular joy in watching students make connections in real time, especially during Creative Writing Club meetings. Outside of school, he enjoys reading and writing, shopping for books, hiking, attending live music events, camping, and volunteering at local poetry workshops. He is also proud to have had his writing published by small presses on both coasts.
