About

For Mike Zajac ’99, working at St. Edward is an opportunity to give back to a community that played an important role in shaping his own life. Mike manages the Green & Gold Shop and also serves as a substitute teacher, keeping him connected to students and school life in more ways than one.

His path back to St. Edward included an interesting detour. After college, Mike moved to Kentucky, where he worked on a large farm breeding Thoroughbred racehorses. He eventually returned to the Cleveland area and built a career in logistics and warehousing before finding his way back to his alma mater.

Away from St. Edward, Mike enjoys Cleveland sports, fly fishing, and long walks with his wife, Michelle, and their two dogs, Otis and Dusty.
