About

Thayer Horton teaches Spanish at St. Edward High School and serves as an advisor for the Spanish Honor Society. He brings years of experience in world language education and a deep passion for helping students connect with Spanish-speaking cultures through authentic communication and real-world experiences. Before joining St. Edward, he taught English language learners, served in school administration with a focus on alternative education programs, and worked as a legal assistant at a foreclosure law firm.

Thayer studied abroad in Mexico for a full academic year, an experience that shaped his commitment to intercultural understanding and global citizenship. He is dedicated to helping students at St. Edward become world-class leaders and values the loving, accepting community of the school.

Outside of school, he enjoys running through Forest Hills and Cleveland Heights, exploring local architecture and real estate, and spending time with his three children.
