The admission process officially begins in the fall of eighth grade, but curiosity starts much earlier. Seventh-graders are encouraged to visit campus and get a feel for everything St. Edward has to offer through the events below.

Seventh-grade boys are invited to spend a fun, interactive day on campus experiencing what learning is like at St. Edward. The day features a series of short, hands-on classroom challenges led by St. Edward faculty, along with a campus tour, lunch, and time to connect with current students. Get the Edge Enrichment Program
Our three-week summer enrichment camp is the perfect combination of academics and recreation for boys entering grade 7 or 8. Join St. Edward teachers and students for a seamless blend of fun and intellectual pursuits, all centered around the essential pillars of 21st-century learning: critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
Admission Practice Test
Private schools all over the country use the High School Placement Test to gauge academic standing. Taking a practice version of the HSPT can be very beneficial for seventh graders, as it helps them become familiar with the test’s format. This preparation can improve scores for those attempting to earn a merit scholarship, as well as reduce test anxiety. The Pre-HSPT is offered every spring at St. Edward. This year's test dates have passed, but testing dates will be scheduled for spring 2027.
