Dan Wallenhorst '04
Director of Admission
AlumnUS, Child of an Edsman, Edsman Sibling
Mr. Wallenhorst's family legacy at St. Edward includes his father John Wallenhorst '77, brother Kevin Wallenhorst '09, and about 47 other cousins and uncles. As the Director of Admission, he cherishes the responsibility of telling the St. Edward story and introducing new families to the school. He loves his job for the "light bulb moments" when students realize their potential. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife Julie and their three young kids. Something most people don't know about Dan is that he competed in the World Championships of Irish Dancing three times! His favorite part of the day is the Community Period, where students engage in clubs, get extra help, and build relationships.
Molly Pietch
Associate Director of Admission
Child of an Edsman, Edsman Parent
Mrs. Pietch joined the admissions team in 2022, with a strong connection to St. Edward that spans generations. Her father, Ray Coughlin '67, was an alumnus, and her sons Matt '20, Jack '23, and Michael '28 continue the family tradition. Molly was drawn to St. Edward by the welcoming atmosphere and the sense of belonging she felt as a parent. She now enjoys forming meaningful relationships with new families every day. Outside of work, Molly finds joy in spending time with her family. One of her favorite parts of the job is selecting the morning music, which always sets the tone for a positive day.
Jaclyn Pieffer
Admissions Operations Manager
Edsman Parent, Spouse of an Edsman
Mrs. Pieffer has always felt a close connection to St. Edward, inspired by her husband's love and admiration for the school. With their son Frankie, a member of the Class of 2027, the Pieffer family continues the tradition of being part of the Eagle community. She treasures the thought of generations of families, including their own, being part of this special place. Outside of work, Mrs. Pieffer is busy attending her children's sporting events, including wrestling, softball, and volleyball—if she's not at school, she's likely in a gym or on a field somewhere! Her favorite part of the school day is the mornings, where she enjoys greeting students and colleagues.
