EmpowerED Maker Challenge
Presentation & Celebration
Presentation & Celebration
The EmpowerED Maker Challenge is a collaborative initiative of St. Edward High School, Cleveland State University, and Youth Challenge. Over three days, the program turns the St. Edward campus into a hub of creativity and problem-solving, where Edsmen and Cleveland State students work side by side with experienced engineers, innovators, and entrepreneurs. Together, they partner directly with individuals who use wheelchairs, designing and building solutions guided by real-life challenges and focused on enhancing their partners’ quality of life.
Each team of six to eight makers is paired with a client whose needs shape the work from start to finish.
Join us for the culminating celebration & presentation!
Sunday, February 22, 2–4 p.m.
Mingle with the teams, meet participants and professionals, hear more about their solutions, and see them in action during this Open House style event.
