St. Edward High School, a Catholic school in the Holy Cross tradition educates the hearts and minds of a diverse group of young men to have the competence to see and the courage to act as men of hope for the transformation of the world.

Changing the world. It’s a powerful—and daunting—thought.

When I was in middle school, I'm not sure I was ready to live up to such a tall task. Yet all these years later, I find myself part of an incredible alumni brotherhood and dedicated team of faculty who embrace this highest calling.

Every school is different, and throughout my career in education, I’ve come to know hundreds of schools. The uniqueness of St. Ed’s is so clear to me.

First, our identity as a Holy Cross school places faith, excellence, relationships, and servant leadership at the center of all we do. These values foster the joy-filled culture and strong sense of belonging every member of our community cherishes.

Second, we’re an IB World School; a forward-thinking model that develops empathetic global citizens who listen, think critically, write, present, and defend their ideas well. IB learners recognize the world as a more interconnected place, fostering an appreciation for diverse perspectives and cultures.

Third, we teach to the future. Relevance is critical to education, and by tackling complex, real-world problems, we empower students to actively build the world in which they will live, work, and serve.

It is through this intersection of Holy Cross values and educational innovation that Edsmen become the men of hope our world desperately needs.

We hope you’ll visit us soon to learn more!
