Through our international travel program, Edsmen transform into citizens of the world, gaining invaluable perspectives on how people experience life across the globe and understanding the common bonds of our humanity. Earlier this month, a group of students ventured to Costa Rica for an unforgettable summer adventure.
From exploring sustainable farms to hiking the breathtaking trails of Cerro de la Muerte Massif National Park, students immersed themselves in the region's vibrant beauty and rich culture. They embraced the spirit of "pura vida," learning about environmental impact and preservation while experiencing Costa Rica’s natural wonders.
Highlights of the trip included a thrilling waterfall hike, surfing the waves at Whale’s Tail Beach, and soaring through the jungle canopy on zip lines. Meaningful reflections with their knowledgeable guides deepened their cultural understanding and forged lasting connections.
