Continuing the Tradition: Class of 2026 Legacy

Posted

May 12, 2026

The Eagle Brotherhood spans generations. This is especially true for the 39 legacy members of the Class of 2026, whose fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, step-grandfathers, or great-grandfathers are St. Edward alumni.

For these Edsmen, St. Edward felt familiar long before freshman year began. It lived in the stories shared around dinner tables, the laughter that followed old memories, and the pride passed down from family members who once wore the green and gold themselves.

That lasting connection is something St. Edward continues to celebrate and strengthen. New this year, the school introduced the Legacy Scholarship, which is automatically awarded to any incoming freshman whose father, grandfather, or great-grandfather—living or deceased—is an alumnus. Stepfather and step-grandfather relationships are also recognized.

St. Edward proudly celebrates both the legacy Eagles of the Class of 2026 and the family members who walked the same halls before them.
