St. Edward High School is proud to announce the appointment of Frank Geib ’15 as the new head coach of the Eagles golf program. A dedicated alumnus, successful business owner, and generous supporter of the school, Geib returns to St. Edward ready to lead the program into its next chapter.
Geib is the owner and general manager of Always Golf Club, a premier golf simulator facility in Westlake, where he has combined his passion for the game with a commitment to growing the local golf community. Always Golf has hosted the Alumni Association’s annual Fat Tuesday Celebration for the past two years and served as the lunch sponsor for this year’s Alumni Scholarship Golf Outing.
Geib and his classmate, Bobby Kaleel ’15, led the effort to establish the Class of 2015 Big Mike Orbany Endowed Scholarship, honoring the late Michael Orbany (the younger brother of Matt Orbany ’15) who passed away in 2014. Their work ensures that Big Mike’s legacy will continue to impact St. Edward students for generations.
St. Edward has long been a part of the Geib family. His father, Jay Geib ’75, has dedicated years to mentoring young men as a freshman football coach, while his brother, Jay Geib ’13, is also an alumnus. His father-in-law, Terry Ryan ’79, along with numerous uncles and cousins, are members of the St. Edward brotherhood.
As an alumnus who understands firsthand the influence of St. Edward coaches, Geib brings a unique combination of competitive golf experience, entrepreneurial leadership, and a deep commitment to the Holy Cross mission. The school is excited to welcome Frank, his wife, Megan, and their son, Frankie, to campus and looks forward to the future of the St. Edward golf program under his leadership.
