Join us for the 2026 induction dinner, honoring Robert Adams, Jr. ’94 (football), Mark Jayne ’00 (wrestling), Domenic Abounader ’13 (wrestling, football), Anthony Young ’13 (track and field, football), and Thomas Glasenapp ’66 (public address announcer).
For over 30 years, St. Edward High School has celebrated the outstanding contributions of athletes, coaches, athletic staff, and community members through induction into the Howard E. Ferguson Athletic Hall of Fame. This annual tradition honors those who exemplify the rich legacy of the St. Edward Eagles—a legacy built on hard work, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence.
2026 HONOREES:
Robert Adams, Jr. ’94, Football

Helped the Eagles’ wrestling team to four state championships and two national championships
Ironman champion and three-time individual state champion
2000 NHSCA national champion and Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award for Ohio
Wrestled collegiately at the University of Pennsylvania
Mark Jayne ’00, Wrestling

Helped the 2001 football team to an undefeated regular season
Set regular season school records for rushing yards, total offense, touchdowns, and points scored
Set career school records for rushing attempts, rushing yards, and points scored
Played collegiately at Bowling Green State University
Domenic Abounader ’13, Wrestling, Football

Helped the 2003 football team to a state runner-up finish
Team captain and second-team All-Ohio (defense)
Three-year starter at the University of Cincinnati
Played professionally for five seasons with the Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers, appearing in 69 regular season games and seven playoff games
Anthony Young ’13, Track and Field, Football

Helped the Eagles’ baseball team to two state championships
Struck out 16 batters in the 2010 championship game
Played professionally for 10 seasons in the minor leagues, making it all the way to the AAA level
Played in over 600 minor league games, with more than 2,000 plate appearances and over 100 innings pitched
Thomas Glasenapp ’66, Public Address Announcer

Perfect 15-0 record, winning by an average score of 38-12
Earned the school’s first state championship in football
Overcame a 14-point deficit in the second half of the championship game
Scored the winning touchdown with less than two minutes to play
