Calling all eighth graders currently enrolled in Algebra I! Join Academic Dean Dan Corcoran ’07 for Algebra Enrichment sessions filled with real-world examples, interactive feedback, and tailored practice that ensure you step confidently into high school math.
Designed for students who want to continue on an accelerated math track in high school, the program strengthens key Algebra I skills and helps prepare students for Honors Algebra II as freshmen and, eventually, advanced courses such as IB Math and AP Calculus.
Each quarter focuses on Algebra I concepts students should have mastered by that point in the school year, based on Ohio’s learning standards. Students participate in two 30-minute virtual classes and complete additional video lessons, practice work, and an assessment. Dean of Academics Mr. Dan Corcoran ’07 provides students with detailed feedback on their work.
Students should expect to spend approximately 3–4 hours on the program each quarter.
