Maintenance Worker – Skilled Trades Technician
​
Position Description: Accurately and timely completes trades-related projects, troubleshooting as needed and making routine repairs; conducts preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment in the school and throughout the school’s campus.
​

Responsibilities:
-
Following the maintenance schedule and upholding the school’s mission, perform maintenance-related tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC maintenance and repairs and other maintenance-related duties as needed.

Perform varied advanced maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance in buildings, on the grounds, and on school vehicles and equipment as necessary.

Assist with the functionality of safety systems, including but not limited to building access, surveillance and camera equipment, emergency alarms, etc.

Contribute to identifying maintenance needs through routine maintenance audits and safety inspections.

Working as part of the team shares knowledge that will assist and help others to improve their capabilities and the overall department’s performance.

Qualifications:
-
Verifiable maintenance-related skills and solid maintenance technician work history
-
Ability to excel in a team environment and work professionally with all levels of employees
-
Demonstrated self-motivation techniques and problem-solving skills
-
Accurately follows instructions along with knowing when to ask appropriate questions or request assistance
-
Knowledge and experience with basic OSHA requirements
-
Correctly uses hand tools along with some powered equipment
-
Required to climb ladders, stand for prolonged periods of time and bend to reach or crawl into some areas
-
Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Assistant Swim Team Coach
The St. Edward High School Swimming and Diving program is seeking qualified assistant coaches at all levels for this upcoming season, under our new Head Coach Bob Lenart.

The ideal candidate(s) will appreciate and embrace the mission of St. Edward High School and catholic education; understand and support the principle that Faith, Excellence, Relationships, and Servant Leadership are the foundation of all athletic programs at St. Edward High School.
Qualifications:

Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills.

Must possess knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport.

Must possess OHSAA coaching certification within 30 days of hire along with becoming Virtus trained.
