Seymour, a timid flower shop assistant, secretly pines for his co-worker Audrey. During a rare total eclipse, he stumbles upon an extraordinary singing plant he names Audrey II. As the plant transforms Seymour's struggling flower shop into a booming enterprise, he discovers it eats human flesh and blood! After sustaining the plant with the remains of Audrey's ex-boyfriend, who tragically died in an accident, Seymour is forced to confront the challenge of procuring more victims for the insatiable foliage.
