FINANCIAL AID FOR 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR
St. Edward Financial Aid
Financial need is determined through an application that is submitted to FACTS* Management group.
Parents/guardians of Incoming Freshmen, Class of 2024, must complete the online FACTS application form and upload all 2018 Federal Tax forms and W2's including all supporting tax schedules from October 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019.
Current families and returning families will be expected to submit their 2019 taxable and non taxable documents in March 2020.

DIOCESE TUITION ASSISTANCE (DTA)
First Round - March 15, 2020 (Upload all requested 2019 completed Tax Documents/Non Taxable Documents by March 1)
Second Round - June 1, 2020 (Upload all requested 2019 completed Tax Documents/Non Taxable Documents by May 15)
Diocesan Tuition Assistance(DTA) Grants are monies awarded from the Diocese of Cleveland based on a family's financial need. The Diocese of Cleveland will be utilizing the FACTS application to process requests for need-based assistance for the 2020-2021 school year.
All current and incoming families must submit their 2019 Tax documents and all associated schedules of taxable and non-taxable income.
If you already have a FACTS application filed for the 2019-2020 school year, simply login to your FACTS application and upload your 2019 tax returns and opt in to Diocesan Tuition Assistance by answering a few additional questions. FACTS will send notifications by email to families that have not yet completed this step.
Deadline to be considered for the First Round is March 2020.
The Second Round or Final Date to file a completed FACTS application is June 2020.

At this time, the application period for the Cleveland Scholarship Program will open on July 15, 2020.
Cleveland Scholarship and Tutoring Voucher Program
The Cleveland Scholarship and Tutoring Voucher Program (CSP) provides educational choices for children in kindergarten through 12th grade to students residing within the boundaries of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District to attend private schools in and around Cleveland. The value of the voucher for grades 9-12 is currently $6,000 per year, which can be applied toward the cost of tuition at St. Edward High School.
THE EDCHOICE SCHOLARSHIP/EDCHOICE EXPANSION PROGRAM
At this time, the application period for both traditional EdChoice and EdChoice Expansion will open on July 15, 2020.
The Educational Choice Scholarship (EdChoice) Program provides students who attend a designated low performing public school in their resident district an opportunity to attend private schools through state funds. The value of the Edchoice Scholarship for the 2020-2021 is $6,000.
Students who DO NOT meet any of the preceding eligibility criteria for the Traditional Edchoice Program may still be eligible for the EdChoice "Expansion" scholarship if they meet the following criteria:
Student does not live in the Cleveland Municipal School District; and
Family household income is at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

JON PETERSON SPECIAL NEEDS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship 2020-2021 application period opens February 1, 2020!
The Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students who are eligible to attend kindergarten through 12th grade and have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district of residence. The amount of each scholarship is based on the disability identified on the student’s IEP as classified into categories set by the state legislature.
