THE COLLEGIATE ADVANTAGE

IB Infographic_horizontal_2022.jpg
The IB Diploma Programme prepares students for university and encourages them to:
  • Ask challenging questions
  • Learn how to learn,
  • Develop a strong sense of their own identity and culture
  • Develop the ability to communicate with and understand people from other countries and cultures
IB courses are recognized for their rigor worldwide, and many IB students are rewarded with college credit upon successfully completing the program. Students are also eligible to earn the IB Diploma, which is a significant credential for college applications. No matter where a student may apply, colleges will understand and appreciate the effort required to earn an IB Diploma. College admissions officers in particular will be familiar with the program's reputation, making the IB Diploma an excellent way for students to demonstrate their readiness to embrace all that universities have to offer.

Nearly all higher education institutions in the US will consider performance in the IB Diploma Programme (DP) for the purpose of admissions or other factors including granting course credit, advanced standing, scholarships or financial aid.
