After lunch with friends, Get the Edge participants who register for afternoon Esports Camps at Ethlete Academy or Technology Camps on campus will be escorted to their next session.

From processors to cooling systems, campers will learn how to select, assemble, and troubleshoot the components of a custom gaming computer. Hands-on learning meets high-performance tech in this DIY course.
English Language Arts: The Hero’s Journey
Discover what makes a hero across time and cultures. Campers will craft their own superhero stories—from origin to transformation—learning narrative structure and what it means to make the world better.
Engineering: Par for the Course
Design a custom mini golf course from start to finish. Campers will map out hole-by-hole layouts, develop signature features, and add creative extras to bring their vision to life.
Performing Arts: Don’t Blink—Magic & Illusions
Unlock the secrets of sleight of hand using nothing but everyday objects. In this fast-paced course, campers will master close-up tricks, misdirection, and performance techniques that amaze audiences.
Visual Arts: Sculpt Like Segal
Inspired by well-known artist George Segal, campers will design and build life-size sculptures using found objects. Collaboration, creativity, and a bold public installation bring this ambitious art project to life.
Film: Movie Scene Remix
Remake iconic movie scenes using pro-level film gear—DSLR cameras, lights, mics, and more. Campers will storyboard, direct, act, and edit like a real film crew in this hands-on production class.
Creative Writing: Zine Creation
Writers and artists will produce a full literary magazine packed with original poetry, stories, and artwork. Campers will shape the publication from scratch and walk away with a copy featuring their own work.
Business: Fantasy Sports Mastermind
Build the ultimate fantasy sports dream team! Campers will balance budgets, analyze stats, and learn how to make winning decisions using strategy and teamwork.
History: Swordplay & Archery
Train like a medieval warrior with this action-packed intro to LARP-style combat. Learn footwork, strikes, and safety for foam sword sparring and archery—then team up for epic battlefield challenges.
Philosophy: Mind vs. Machine—AI & Ethics
Explore how AI models like ChatGPT are trained—and how they compare to human intelligence. Campers will take on creative challenges, learn the basics of generative AI, and draft an ethical policy for AI use in schools.
Physics: Marble Coaster Design
Design and build your own roller coaster using marbles and everyday supplies. Campers will explore velocity, kinetic energy, and momentum—bringing real physics to life through motion.
Technology: Robotics Lab
Work in teams to build and program a robot using Hummingbird kits and creative materials. Campers can even explore 3D design to add custom parts with laser cutters and 3D printers.
