EDSMEN TRAVEL TO THE NETHERLANDS AND THE UNITED KINGDOM TO ATTEND THIS YEAR'S THIMUN23 CONFERENCE

This week, Baird Bracken, Aiden Bruder, Josh Butler, Brian Clark, Lukas Kucera, William Perrins, Jett Razek, Andrew Smith, Jaden Stainforth, Rob Torres, Santiago Vanegas, Eric Vaziri, Van Weinmann, Nicholas Winchester, and Ben Zangas, accompanied by President KC McKenna '00 and Director of International Programs Michael Perrins, traveled to the Netherlands and the United Kingdom to attend the THIMUN23 Conference at The Hague. The 55th annual THIMUN conference invites students worldwide to come together for a 4-day conference, a simulation of the United Nations at the World Forum Convention Center. Edsmen are part of 3,000 delegates participating in this year's THIMUN conference, and have networked and collaborated with students from over 100 countries including France, Germany, Italy, Uzbekistan and Australia.

Apart from the conference, Edsmen have been able to tour the International Criminal Court building, traveled to Amsterdam to visit the Dam Square, the Royal Ceremonial Palace, the Second World War Memorial and the world-famous Krasnapolsky Hotel. Students ended their week-long trip with the THIMUN23 Conference Closing Ceremony, in which Model UN Ambassador William Perrins '23 participated in the international flags procession, and over to the United Kingdom for a quick trip to central London.
