ST. ED'S AWARDS NAMES EDSMEN THE CLASS OF 2026 FORWARD SCHOLARS

This Wednesday, St. Ed's community gathered together to host the Underclassman Academic Awards Ceremony. From College & University Achievement Awards and Honorary & Memorial Awards to Scholastic Achievement Awards in Honors and High Honors and Students of the Year, students from the Classes of 2024, 2025 and 2026 were recognized and celebrated for their academic achievements with the support of the St. Ed's community.

A special congratulations goes to Khalid Elimam '26, Kaylor Fox '26, TJ May '26, and Bryan Vlosich '26 on being named the Class of 2026 Forward Scholars. The Class of 1963 St. Edward Man of the Year Jim Walter and his wife, Marianne, established the Forward Scholarship at St. Ed's with the belief that by investing in highly principled and talented students, great things can happen. This significant financial scholarship is awarded every year to four Edsmen in the freshman class who have displayed exceptional promise and who have demonstrated an appreciation of the Gospel verse, "To whom much has been given, much is expected." These Edsmen understand that the skills and intellect they possess have been given to them by God; and are not truly utilized until they have been put forth in service to others. Each Forward Scholar commits to paying the award forward through service and philanthropic efforts to St. Edward High School.

Congratulations to our underclassmen on all of their accomplishments and for having "the competence to see and the courage to act as men of hope for the transformation of the world."
